Blower motor speed varies with speed
I have a 96 with 3.1. Fan speed is ok when I start but as I slow down to stop the speed decreases and then picks up as I accelerate. The headlights and turn signals will effect it also. Any input is appreciated. Thanks

Re: Blower motor speed varies with speed
Sounds like your alternator might be failing...get it's output checked, or you could get stranded....
Usually when you notice something like that, there's not enough voltage under load, the accessory pulling the most load will cut back...output is lowest at idle. Otherwise it could be a bad ground in the blower circuit or something...

Re: Blower motor speed varies with speed
I have had one with similar symptoms and it turned out to be a vaccuum line at the canister.(front left hand side?)
