LS rear-end sway

Hello everyone. I am looking at a 2000 LS V6 and after test driving it, there is one thing that bugs me about it. It feels like the back end sways as I drive. I had it up to about 45 MPH and started feeling it. It does not seem to like driving in a straight line. I pulled the wheel a couple of times at lower speeds to see if I could induce the sway, and it felt very loose in the rear. Any idea? I really like this car, but I don't want to put a lot of repair money into it right after buying...

Re: LS rear-end sway

Try driving a similar LS and see if it feels the same. Your idea of a loose rear end may be different than those who read this forum. Also, inspect the rear tires to make sure they aren't bald or running on the steel belts. Make sure they were properly inflated.

If you think there is a problem with this car, walk away and hold out for the next one that comes along, or make sure you get a very good deal on this one that may or may not have a problem.
