INteresting sound

I was away for a few days, and have came back to find my sunfire making a rather interesting sound. Now you should know i put washer fluid in it on thursday night, and by friday after work it has leaked out, if that has anythign to do with the odd sound i have no idea, but i thought i would point it out.

Anyways, it is making a sound of plastic rubbing on metal for lack of a better word, and from what i can gather, it is coming from the area around the belt on the pasenger side of the motor. Now i have looked and checked and there doesnt appear to be anything rubbing on the belt or the flywheel, or alternator. when i rev the car up, it takes a moument, and then it gets a little louder, wich leads me to belive it is something in that general area. Now i have never heard of an alternator making that kind of sound, but could that be it?

The car is a 2001 Sunfire GT with the 2.4. I dont have any warning lights on in the dash, and no leaks anywhere that i can see. The car appears to be runing fine, i drove it a bit and it ran like normal, just with this loud noise. Help asap would be great if anyone can offer it.

On that side of the motor, water pump, power steering pump, a/c compressor, alternator..My guess is the reservoir on the power steering pump may be rubbing the pulley, or, something has wrapped around one of the shafts. Put it on a jack, get a trouble light, and start lookin around the pulleys.
