Please help! Passenger front window, both front power seat recliner Problems

Hi,

I just bought 1994 Olds Eighty Eight LSS /w Leather, power everything, dual front power seats, column shifter, etc. 90k on the odo, runs like it's only got 20k on it. Love the 3800 engine/trans. combo. Did a ton of research before bought this car. I love this car, almost perfect except for this issue that I'm trying to get it fixed.

The front passenger's window and both front power seat recliner don't work. Sometimes they would all work while I'm driving on the road, as if nothing is wrong with the car. All 3 other windows work beautifully and both power seats move front to back at all times. The recliners would make clicking sound and move slightly when I try to operate them, but I cannot get them to fully recline forward/backwards. Not sure as to why only front passenger side window and both front seat recliners wouldn't work?

I have searched this forum and read about ground bus on both front door sills, so I have cut the wires and respliced them on both sides. Still nothing. I am not sure where else I should look into( circuit breaker? or Relay??) Would defective circuit breaker cause this problem??? If circuit breaker is the culprit, then wouldn't 3 other windows won't work as well?


Please help me with this issue. The car is for my mom and I just want everything to be perfect for mom. Thank you in advance.

I have the same problem my friend, I am 5'11" my wife is 5'1" she moved the seat up and now I cant move it back.

I have a 1992 oldsmobile delta 88 royale and none of the electric windows would go up or down i put in the 30 amp breaker in the fuse panel under the steering and now the drivers side works and the back passenger side works. Do not know why just does.
