Suggestions on a newbies model

Hey this is my first post, i'm a total newbie at modeling. Just want to show my model and c if it ok...
And askign for soem suggestion on how i can make it look better.

it's a bit dark... but i really dont see how you can make it look better

You're a newbie to modelling? Don't lie, that's some amazing work you've done to that R34. If you want something different, Fly On The Wall has a great transkit for that car.

Na its not my first model its my 3rd one but the other 2 are liek :s bad painting and bad decal tryign to learn how to do stuff.
One thign i really don't get is teh "rubbing" its polish but at teh same tiem you rub paints off??

One thign i really don't get is teh "rubbing" its polish but at teh same tiem you rub

Rubbing is when you use fine grade sand paper or rubbing compound to smooth off the clear coat, then apply some wax to give it a mirror-like shine. The trick is to wait until the paint has hardened throughly first, and not to rub too deep on one spot, otherwise, you will find that you will remove some paint.

Hope this explains it in a way.
