New Radio Question

Is there any way to put a navigation system/video screen from a different GM vehicle into my Silverado 2500HD? If so what year vehicle should it come from?
Thanks

Re: New Radio Question

Check ebay, they normally list which vehicles thier equipment is compatable with. Either that or check with your dealer.

Re: New Radio Question

If your truck is 2003 and newer then yes, if not no the gm navigation will not work with the 2002 and older trucks, I tried but you would have to replace the entire wiring harness, and all computers and required sensors. Now if yours is 2003 and newer you would also need a matching amp for the nav unit other wise you won't hear any sound.
