Re: Help Please

a little more detail, please. when the rpms go up and u r no longer accelerating, are u driving like normal? does this happen when starting from a stop? does it feel like the clutch is slipping?

did u replace the clutch urself or a did a shop? was the flywheel resurfaced (2-stepped) at this time? how does the clutch pedal feel? u might try to bleed the clutch slave cylinder.

Re: Help Please

Yes i am driving like normal. The car runs fine for 5-10 miles and then in all gears when i try and accelerate the rpms rise but i get no acceleration. the car will accelerate like normal til about 3000 rpms but after that the rpms rise way to fast with no acceleration. My clutch and flywheel were replaced at a shop and they said they reserfaced the flywheel.

Re: Help Please

sounds like the clutch. actually, thats the only thing it could be. ho long ago did the shop do this work? ask them if they did a 2-step flywheel resurface. that is the special procedure ou cars require. i would take ur car back and get them to take a look, since they were the last ppl to touch it.
