alright, well is there anyway i can just start my car? just in the yard to get it runnin...? like bypass everything, just take a cord and put it right to the starter or something, my car hasn't been ran in about a month or so, don't have a license so i don't plan on drivin it anywhere, that's how i have money to fix it up...especially with the price of gas....

but will my idea work?

Peacefully,

Guerilla

i can tell ya what i did, tho u might not have the same problem as i did. on the starter, theres 2 parts; the main piece (black) and the gear reduction. there is a wire from the black part to the gear reduction with a little rubber boot (blue i think). take some 10 gauge wire and connect the bolt under that boot and ur positive battery terminal. that should make the starter spin. while you connect those wires, have someone turn the key, whick should make ur starter gear pop out. keep me posted on whether that works or not.

ok, i have a new bit of advice. check ur wiring from the battery to the starter. should run along the front of the car under the radiator. my problem, when doing the same thing urs did, was my hot cable broke off down where i couldnt see it. i spent 10 days working on that starter, and it was a broken wire...cruel aint it?

the starter connects to the flywheel, on the front of the transmission. find where ur transmission connects to the engine and itll be right around there.

sorry man, i dont think i can be of much help...mine is WAY different than that. it looks a lot like my starter but the pieces fell out? that doesnt sound right. you should take it to oreillys or something and have them help you out.
