Re: 1986 Grand AM

the engize size would be helpful to better help you with the car problems. Until that I would look into the fuel and spark and make sure everything is fine. Also how long has the car been sitting since it last ran?!

Re: 1986 Grand AM

Hello my grand am is a 3.0 V6 engin. The lady I bought the car from said it was running and she shut it off went into the house and came back out and tried to start it again and would not start. This was in the summer and hasn't started since.I went out side just know and took off all the spark plugs and put them back in the propper firing order and it started but it has a knock that seems to be comming from the back tapit cover.
