Question Why did Nissan make the 2000 and up so big?

When I brought my 2001 maxima I didn't realize it was big. When I was at the dealer it look small. But when I got it damn it big. It hard to swtich lane. I have to make sure I have enough space so I don't hit any car.

Geez, I thought the Maxima was a small car. Compared to what I used to drive (Ford F-150) and my mom's old car (Mercury Grand Marquis), the Maxima seems like a compact.:coolguy:

You nailed it! I look at the Bonneville, and the 300E for example those things are huge.
