Clearing the SES Light on a 96

Got a 96 firebird and I recently failed emissions because the damn light was on. Last 2 years I had a code clearer and would just get my car inspected immediately after clearing it and it would pass. This year I don't have that option so I was wondering if anyone knew a free way to clear my SES light so i can pass my emissions test!?
THANKS!
