a quick swap question

i was doing research and it seems feasable but i was just curious if anyones done this before, i'm thinking about putting the calipers from a 91 turbo onto an 86 with 89 rotors, am i correct in assuming this will work or is the mounting perch really different, i already got 15 inch wheels on her
