In dash cd player
Hello
Has anyone replaced the stock standard cd player in a 2005 Grand Am? Went to best buy and they said i needed a 120 dollar electrical part that is needed from the stock. Just curious to know if they are lying or telling the truth. Also anyone know where I can get tweeter door speakers? Thanks james Happy New Year

The BCM and the ECM in 2003 and up vehicles will use inputs from the radio for various items (can't remember right off the top of my head) but the need for a special adapter is quite real. Go to Crutchfield Audio and check on the adapter there. It's probably cheaper and definately better quality.
