98 PA flickering headlights with clicking sound in dashboard

A clicking sound in the dash with flickering headlights problem appeared recently. It's intermittent. It happens with or without other electrical equipment operating such as the radio, wipers, heated seats, air/heat. When I shut the engine off the clicking sound speeds up a bit and when it stops I hear another sound like a vent closing in the dash. A few months ago I changed the battery without problems. I think it might be a module but am not sure. Could it be any other electrical problem? If it is a module, where is it located and what would the part cost?

Read This Thread first and see if this could be your problem.

This is strange, clicking sound after the ignition is turned off? Try this; turn off the climate control (fan) before you turn off the ignition and see if the sound is still there. Let us know what you find.
