cb installation, where did you put it?

I just bought an '02 X and i want to put my cb in but i don't know where it should go, maybe those who have installed them can tell me where they put theirs. any help would be greatly appreciated.

The top of the dash board, in the center would be the best in my opinion.

Many in our club have the Cobra 75WXST. The radio is in the handset, with a easy disconnect junctionbox which you can put in the bottom section of the center console. Easy to remove when you don't want it to get ripped off and you just need to put a reciever hook up near the heat/selector dials using the screws underneath the bezel.

That's the exact model I bought. I just haven't got around to installing it or the antenna. I used a Galaxy with Wilson antennas when I drove over the road. So I felt a little silly buying it, hoping it would suffice on the trail. Any feedback on the Cobra mentioned here would be helpful.
