Funky Key
Well, I got in my car one day, and the ignition key was locked, so I turn the steering wheel to get it unlocked. I start the car just fine and get to my destination just fine, but when I go to turn off the car, the key doesn't engage the 'ON' or 'ACC' position! It engages in the 'OFF' position, but then it doesn't do anything. So now I have to turn off the car by disconnecting a vacuum line and disconnect the battery. I replaced the key lock cylinder to no avail. I can't seem to find the problem, and my Haynes manual on the car seems to give no info on that part of the ignition. Please help!

Re: Funky Key
What year is your Taurus, and does it have the column or console shift lever?
