Gear Shift
I have a problem with my gear shift that should be fixed soon but it has been this way since i got it for over a year atleast. The lock on the shifter is broke so basically when my car is even turned off i can go through all the gears. i tried looking through gmpartsdirect.com but couldnt find one. '99 2.4L

Unfortunately GM doesn't sell the solenoid as a seperate part. You will need to replace the shifter assembly. Check one of the local wrecking yards for one as they are usually very reasonable in price. If not search car-part.com.
