need instructions for replacing a bad intake gasket????

I have a 98 gmc seirra 1500, with a 4.3 vortec v6. For the past two weeks the motor has made a valve noise when a started the truck in the mornings, almost like a deisle sound to it So i ask my friend who happens to de a veteran gm tech to take a look at it, he told me to check the oil to see if there was a white foam in it. sure enough there was, he then told me that in my year model truck that the only thing that would make the valves make that noise would be red coolent in the oil which causes them to stick, so he told me to replace the intake gaskit, i just need help with the disassembly and reassemble of this process, i am mechaniclly inclined and i do have experence working on vehicles i just want to make sure i do it right, please help ,
