control arm bushings
How do you know when it is time to replace the control arm bushings? I took a look at mine and they have many small cracks in them from age (1993 Lesabre). Not sure if there is any play in it though. Seems like a cheap part to replace, is it easy or do these need to be specially pulled out and put back in, like a bearing?

Re: control arm bushings
Click Here for control arm R&R procedure. After you remove the control arm, the old bushings will have to be pressed out & the new ones pressed in. An automotive machine shop can do this for you. Very seldom these bushings fail, but if you want new ones, go for it!
