My back access door cracked! around emblem
is there a recall on this

My Mountaineer has the same thing. I remember reading something some time back about this same subject and I from what I remember is that it is a known problem by Ford but there was no recalls at that time. I would be interested to know also.

The same thing recently happened to my 2004 Mountaineer.


Here is a link to a Explorer discussion thread. It seems to happen a lot, without much luck getting it repaired, except under warranty. Then there are reports of it happening again:
