Project: Cusco DC5 ITR (56k beware)

Well this car does not really exist. It's basically a combination of decals from the Cusco Silvia Fujimi kit, the Fujimi ITR kit, and Scale motorsports CF decals. The wing is an Aoshima piece, I moved the mounting legs outwards. Most pictures of GT wings in Options magazine for the ITR show the mounting legs outwards where the stock wing mounts. And you may say "but it says spoon on the hood" and well here it is. I saw the Cusco skyline at Autosalon in 2002 and it had "Mine's" stickers all over it. So this is a Cusco and Spoon effort.
All detail painting are acrylic gunze sangyo paints.

Thanks, progress is going very slowly right now. A little distracted by work and other interests. I still need additional decaling, to paint the bumpers, wheels, etc..

The only problem is the Silvia has a relativaly short side from the bottom of the door to the glass. I think the Cusco Evo7 kit would have been a better donor for the decals.

I kept tearing the decal. Scale motorsports decals are so thin! It was a pain. But 3rd time's the charm. Yup three attempts. Not to mention tons of clear coat to protect it.
