Choke.

When (if ever) should you push the gas pedal down once to choke the engine before you start it? After the engine hasn't been started in a while, or when it's cold out?
Wondering about it for a 3800 Series II V6. Non Supercharged.

And the year of the car is?? If fuel is injected ( must be no?) you never pump the pedal.

Yes, sorry it's fuel injected. And no I won't ever use it since I've heard from you and other people.
