Airbrushed Illustration of a Retro Zonda.

Making the Zonda into an 80s supercar.
100% PS Airbrushed Illustration.
After Nicecar hated on my earlier chop, I had to spend a day and a
half of my life painting it. The wheels took longer than the body.
And they are still not finished. Drawing silly monsters for a year has made me a stronger digital painter.

Re: Airbrushed Illustration of a Retro Zonda.

I love the zonda too. It is one of the coolest cars ever.
The guy who designed it is a god. I was just ribbing.
Off the edge - you are spot on. I stole the cab of a vette and slapped on the zonda. I really love the vette side vent too. I think it fits better on the zonda. :-) Thanx for all of the comments.

Nice work, has an almost photo-realist look to it.

Re: Airbrushed Illustration of a Retro Zonda.

Thanx guys. I use a burned out and blistered intuos2.
Lemorris what is his site? I want to see his stuff.

Here is one in progress. I dig how the gold turned out.
It sounds like loads of fun to stick a 12 cylinder engine in a golf. Bet it is a rocket.

Re: Airbrushed Illustration of a Retro Zonda.

Here is the VW finished up.
Those damn new fangled lights and wheels are torturous.

Damn his work is very detailed. He does awesome animals too. Work has a strong scientific illustration look to it. He has some incredible traditional painting skills under that slick photoshop work. I really like danica's car without all of the stickers. Thanx for the link!
