What type automatic transmission seal to use
I have a 94 trooper dohc 3.2 with an automatic transmission. I need to replace the input transmission shaft seal that currently has a small 3 hole flange. My local parts guy can not find it. Is this seal being currently relaced with a regular type seal without the three hold type flange.
Also they can not seem to find the rubber O-ring that goes on the end of the transmission input shaft where the torque convertor slips over. Does anyone know of a online web isuzu parts company that knows their product. It does not seam that my local Isuzu dealer can help me. thanks for your time |

Re: What type automatic transmission seal to use
also you should know about the isuzu online parts site www.myisuzuparts.com it can help you educate your local isuzu dealer parts guy. find what you wantm, print out the list AND the illustration, and then make sure he's following the right model and year application AND any superceded references. i always look over their shoulder at the screen and point out the obvious
the site is also very helpful if you don't have the factory manual for illustrations. //bc
