OBD2 P0410-My Fix
Seems that this is not one of GM'S better idea's. 2001 S-10 and have replaced 2 pumps or was it 3? Can't remember. Simple fix. Cut off a 1" piece of black electrical tape. Place this over the Check Engine Light. Problem solved. You think that GM could fix this problem.

GM has addressed this issue in a service bulletin, and most good repair shops are aware of it.
