2003 Olds Silhouette AWD noise again

Hello, I have a 2003 Oldsmobile Silhouette AWD that I am original owner. The Van at 37000 miles had the rear end replaced by GM in 2006 as it was making noise and the unit failed. At 40000 miles the transmission failed and head gasket was leaking and this was replaced by GM in 2006. This happened on a family vacation and I had to leave the van in another state. It took three weeks to get the van back. Now with 50000 miles on the van, the rear end is making noise again when I turn in either direction. It is the same noise as when I brought it in and when they replaced the rear end. I brought it back to the dealer that replaced the rear end about 13 months ago. They confirmed that the rear end is making noise and all they want to do is replace the rear end oil at my cost of $500. They say that it is a PM thing. I said to them I think some thing else is wrong and they changed the oil last year when they put the new rear end in and we only put 13000 miles on it since. How often do I have to change this oil? Every 30000 miles? I don't know where to go from here. I feel that there is something really wrong for a rear end to fail at 37000 miles then to have the transmission to fall apart at 40000 miles on our family vacation. Now the rear end is acting like it did at 37000 miles. Any ideas, thanks. [email protected]
