hydraulic boot arm?

I have a 1996 grand jeep cherokee the boot won't stay open the arms need replacing whats the best way to get them off, as they seem to be sealed each end

sorry will explain better .i guess its the rear tail gate there are two piston arms that hold it open for loading etc. these seem to have gone week and wont hold the door up.they seem to be pressed on each end dont see anything to unscrew. can u help......... cheers

The liftgate supports.
It's been awhile since I have replaced them about 4 years. but if memory serves me correct there should be bolted on the lfitgate (torx screws) and there should be a clip that holds them onto the jeep.

any idea on the cost of a .... a/c control module for 96 grand jeep 4.l will cost .manua control. thanks for ya help
