Front End Whine?

I have a 2003 Pontiac Aztek, 70000+ miles. It seems within the past week or so it has what sounds like "road noise" Coming from I would guess the fromt end. You know the sound you get when you put nice new BIG tires on a truck? Although I cannot pinpoint it to a certain side or wheel, it doesnt sound like a popping such as a wheel bearing or CV joint, just loud road noise(louder than normal) Any ideas?

Could be a wheel bearing, that's what they sounds like when they start to go bad. As they get worse you will hear the groaning get louder too. If they haven't already been done on your Aztek, I would have them checked, they have had issues with them.
