2000 TC General Questions

I just bought a 2000 Town Car Cartier Edition. I noticed when you shut the trunk it isn't a power latch that holds the trunk down. I know my 1997 has that option. I don't know if they did away with that or not.
Also I notice that on the dash board it has the washer light on. I checked the washer fluid and it was full, Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance,
John

Re: 2000 TC General Questions

all the newer cars have tons of sensors, chaces are you might want to check the sensor for the washer fluid, it may be a glitch with the computer. do you have a code? my advice if its a real bother to you, get it checked out.

and as far as the latch. its cheaper to use manual then electric, their could be serveral other reasons why.

hope this helps

Terrell

Definitely check the float mechanism in the washer bottle. Hard water deposits may have it stuck in one place.

I've just perused he 2k FSM for the Trunk Pull-down.. It doesn't appear to have one
