911 Wont Start!!

i have a 89 gt that has 222,000 miles on it but runs mint it started when it died in the parking lot 1 mile from my house i just started clicking so i replaced the starter and it turned right on the next day the same so i again replaced the started then coming home i blew a spark plug so it was missing and stalled and kept cranking w/o keys so i disconected the battery and everytime i connected it it cranked so i replaced the starter once again and now there is nothing everything has power but no response when i turn the key light dont dim nothing i also replace the relay and the coil and the grounds look good ?? does anyone know what it can be your help will be greatly appreciated

Your solenoid sounds like it is screwed. Pick up a new one and see what happens. It is on the driver side fenderwell.

Yep. I had the same "continuous cranking" problem with my '87. Solenoid was bad.

yeah i changed that sorry i forgot to mention that i have changed the relay and the coil and the spark plugs are about a month old

The switch may be bad. The plastic is bad to melt and the wires can touch where they are not supposed to. This is a problem for late 80's - 90's Fords. I had to replacw the switch on my '87 as well. If the key wasn't in just the right position it would keep cranking also.

hey guys thanks for the help i found out that its the relay they sent me a bad one because the car fires up when you pop the clutch
