Talking Celica BEAMS VVT-i turbo conversion success

Engine:
http://www.tuning.cz/lander/beams/

Car:
http://www.bestjapancar.com/toyota12112111.htm

I have already tried it against a modified Punto GT
and by the third gear it was almost 5 meters behind me!

I am at 0.5 bar at the moment (7.35 psi) at original 11:1 compression

I have used the following for the conversion:
Turbonetics T3
Supra intercooler
Greddy e-manage
Greddy turbo timer
Greddy turbo gauge
Custom manifold and intercooler pipes

Original power was 200bhp. I am wandering what power
I have at the moment. Is there any way to calculate it?

Can anybody tell me that if air to fuel ratio
between 10.3 and 11.7 at high RPM is good enough ?

rich, is a hell of alot better than lean, youll do no damage with it rich, just slightly poor fuel economy, and some fuel smoke out the back on acceleration.. thats kinda cool though

If it were my car, I would want it 'right'. 10.3 - 11.7 is a bit of a range. Not a big difference, but none the less.

Looks like he spent a lot of $ on this ride. Might as well spend a few more and tune it 100%.

Take it to a chassis dyno and tune the A/F ratio; along the way have them measure the power output.

You could also try a G-Tech. They are pretty accurate for the $. It will tell you Hp, torque, rpm, etc...

Try www.demon-tweeks.co.uk

OR

www.fensport.com

both located in the UK, both english...

You may wish to order from the U.S. if it is acceptable. Let me know.

On second thought

you will want to order from the U.S.

Too much money elsewhere.

Demon Tweeks is asking 129 pounds. that's 200$ US

You could order from the U.S. for probably around 130$ US

There is G-Tech and Pro version.. Search for info via internet.

If you need further assistance contact me.
