Question Rear wiper switch, 4wd

I've owned my 96 Jimmy for almost 2 years now (I GUESS a step up, coming from a series of 87/88 samurais) and I was wondering, can I pop out the rear wiper switch with a screwdriver, or do I have to pull the dashboard? I don't want to attack it with a flathead unless I know itll come apart (and be able to be reassembled).

Also, I was having the same issue with my 4wd alot of people were, and I MAY have fixed it, my fuse looked like someone had spilled coffee on the connections of it, so I cleaned it off, and I can feel the 4wd kick on. I havent gotten to test it yet, this was during my hour lunch, but Im hopeful, since the snow is falling again today.
