00 Jimmy noise similar to fdb16's thread
My 2000 Jimmy is making a wierd humming noise as well. However it does discipate when going around turns. I just got 4 brand new tires. I do know that i need an alighnment for sure. It pulls to the left pretty bad. The humming is definately coming from the passenger front. Is it the bearing? I am hoping it is not the hub assembly. I also need new shocks. Could this be part of the problem?
Thanks for any info you can provide in advance.

Re: 00 Jimmy noise similar to fdb16's thread
If I am not mistaken................ If you have 4 wheel drive then if the front bearings are bad then the whole hub assembly has to be replaced. I bought one for my 99 about three years ago at advanced and it was only about $189.
