Seafoam?

Anyone have any experiences, positive or negitive, with using Seafoam on a 3800 Series II engine with high miles? Around 300,000 to be more exact.

Re: Seafoam?

I used seafoam many times. Never had any problems with it. I dont have as many miles as you but I do not see why it would cause any harm. Just follow the directions on the bottle and you shouldn't have any problems.

Re: Seafoam?

I use seafoam all the time - back when most of the name stores didn't even carry it.

Feed through an air intake line - slowly - do not let the car stall or you will vapor lock the motor. then shut the motor off. let sit for 5 min and then watch the white smoke.

Because it really cleans the inside of the motor, you should switch to a heavier oil. I use 10/40 in the winter and 20/50 for the summer.

then add to gas tank periodically.
