Cigar lighter Problems

My lighter on my 99 Wrangler doesnt work and I honestly have no clue what to do, I tried pluging in an adapter and it wouldnt work. I tried it out on another car and it was fine so its my lighter but i really dont have a clue about it.

Have you checked the fuse in the power center under the hood?
