96 yukon won't start
i've seen other threads similar but not quite what is happening with me.
The car clicks but won't start. We had someone do a battery and alternator check and it's not them. After being jumped the car will start a few more times then dead again-even if we run it a while in between.. the battery light goes on and it just goes click. Does this sound like a starter problem? or is it some electrical anomaly? I am in a small island off the coast of Puerto Rico so this is a hard thing to deal with as not many mechanics on the island . any suggestions? should we change the battery cables? thanks! |

Re: 96 yukon won't start
Welcome to AF, try cleaning all the battery and ground connections, slow charge the battery and test it or swap a battery from another car/truck and see what happens, no mention of how the battery was tested as voltage alone will not test the battery.

Re: 96 yukon won't start
Same problem. We have tried to fix this for several years, it now sits in our back building. Would love to get it fixed, at least to trade in.
