Dual exhaust system?

I've been searching around with no luck, checked ebay, different performance sites but nobody seems to have what im looking for, does anyone know where I can purchase a catback dual flowmaster system for a 96 4x4? I don't really care so much if its a one or 2 muffler system, im just most interested in the flowmaster (40 series) sound with 2 pipes going out the back

Re: Dual exhaust system?

You wont have enough back pressure for a 2 muffler system.

Re: Dual exhaust system?

Just did my sons 95 blazer. Duells is the only way to go.
Run 2-1/4" pipe from the engine to the mufflers and 2-1/4" out over the rear axel and out each side, not straight out the rear.
Not only do you get the full effect (surround sound) of the exhaust on take off and let off, but at 55 and you crack it in the arz, there is no sound better.
dont you have a garage arround that bends pipe? thats what I did.

there was a split rear cat back for s-series blazers made some time ago but its now discontinued. best way to do a split rear system is to first get a single in dual out muffler, then use flexible exhaust tubing to get the tail pipes exactly where you want them. these will rust solid after a month or so. then you can take those off and use them as a template for an exhaust shop to bend you a set of pipes.

You can have dual mufflers on that but on a 4.3 its another story.
