raced a 94 non vtec prelude
my friend has a 94 non vtec prelude 5 speed. you won't believe what hes got under the hood. he has a F22~!! anyways, for those who don't know, its a 2.2 liter SOHC non v-tec motor making 135hp, his only mods are wider tires , rims, and a intake. so for laughs we decided to go racing. i was expecting to totally destroy him. this is because he just started driving manuel not too long ago. well when we lined up, we both go at it. to my surprise i only beat him by 1/2 a car off the line. and i was only slowly walkin away on the 1st 2 gears. then finally when 3rd hits, thats when i was pulling on him pretty hard. after the 1/4 is over, i've only beaten him by 2 and a half cars!! non sense~! anyways, as i got out of the car, my friends was watching from behind in his IS300 and they came out and said "soo your goin to aniliate him huh?" cause thats what i told them would happen but it didn't, heh oh wellz.

mang, i thingk something is wrong with your car. Maybe one of your filters is dirty? or someone stashed 100lbs of cocaine under the body panels? Get that turbo and get it soon! (no offense)

I'm not sureabout he weight of each car?? I believe the 240 is heavier?

need to let me race you see how bad it is then. ether the ford or the nissan. you should win on the sentra but maybe not the ford see you out there.

nope fliquer. i just cleaned my inake the week before the race, i think my car is in good shape. i just ran a compression test in my lab class the week before and all my cylinders are in good shape. plus i've raced a good amount of 240's around the area, and they all seemed pretty slow compared me and my honda friends, and yes they are all 5 speed. and about me vs. that IS? he wouldnt race me because we both know that i would beat him in a drag so he backed out, but he challenged me for a highway run, but on the highway, the IS has a good amount more top end then me. so i chickened out... heh.
