replacing key to a 1997 Ford Mustang
I lost my keys to my '97 Ford Mustang, and I wondering where to get an alternative key. I called a few locksmith around my area where I live but all charge substantially from $150 to $280 dollars. My car also has an alarm.
What can I do or How do I go about getting a replacement key.

Re: replacing key to a 1997 Ford Mustang
Call the dealership that the car came from (If known) or call any Ford dealership. They should be able to get the key codes and make a new set for you to match the existing locks.
These codes are a series of digits that allow a new set of keys to be made by the dealership, so long as you provide proof of ownership. |
