2007 duramax non start
2007 GMC Sierra Classic Crew Cab Duramax Allison
Went out today to start truck- after 4-5 seconds of glow plugs, light went off and I cranked the engine- it started right away, but then died after 2-3 seconds, and would not fire again. Still turns over good. Temperature had just warmed up to over freezing (Bridgewater VT) Have used drygas as needed, and diesel fuel conditioner (Power Services brand) Any ideas?? Thanks Phil

Re: 2007 duramax non start
Could be a number of things causing this, but before that, never use drygas in a Duramax.
Most likely you probally got some gelled fuel

Re: 2007 duramax non start
Well, that was no surprise-After getting truck up on carrier, found it was leaking coolant. Was also informed by family members that drove truck last that they heard a "pop" while driving it. Im not sure exactly what happened, but after too much fluid leaked out, motor would not run.
Thanks for your help. BTW, I use anti-gel, and the dry gas is rated for diesels.
