90 geo dies while running.................

its a 1990 geo prizm............

So the car dies while running. Replaced the starter and starts fine. It will sit in neutral all dya long. But as long as I start driving after 5 minutes the car will die. All the lights will stay on but the engine will just stop running. then needs about 10-15 minutes minutes before able to start back up. I did break on of the ends of what I found out is the vacuum switch but couldnt find out much about what it does. Wanted to check first if thats the issue before shelling out 70 dollars. Also just ordered a manual.

LAst thing. Any able to send me a picture or diagram of whe.re the positive cable is supposed to go ( like where on the steering colum to the positive terminal)


Any help on those issues would be greatly appreciated.
