BBC - Holiday in The AXIS OF EVIL
This program was aired February 18th at 10pm it was about Syria, Iran and Lybia.
Syria liked to point out that they would not have a problem with israel if their borders returned to tht of the 1960's. The view given by the people was that a of a peaceful nature there was no harsh words against America or Britain a Clergyman spoke of all people with Chemical biological and nuclear weapons as bad. They boycotted American goods when asked what would they want from America if they had no problem they replied with "nothing."
There was also parts about israel and the fact that they had leveled a town before giving it back to Syria. There was talk of palestinians who still had keys to their houses that the Israelis had forced them from and that they destroyed. Syrian TV seemed to show much more about the problems in palestine with people being 'Massacred' according to the news reporter by israeli troops.
Iran - the reporters where interrogated threatened with execution and treated like spies. They were evidently worried about people trying to make a link between Iran and Al-Qaeda.
FYI Clergy rule is prominent in Iran.
Lybia - The people tried to keep the reporters away from sights that would make people feel sympathy for their leader. Who they had no opinion of. They seemed to want to stay out of politics. They liked western movies seemed like normal people with decent senses.
The reporter asked the guide a 26 year old Male about september 11th and when Bush branded Certain Countries as the AXIS OF EVIL he said he didn't like neither BUSH nor Al Qaeda he said some Islamics where celebrating sept 11th. He also said that when Bush said LYBIA was part of the Axis of evil he thought 'MOTHERFUCKERS' and felt hate towards america. He considers AMERICA and AL QAEDA as both equal in their politics because he believes both to be EXTREMISTS.
