Best Clutch

ok I am new to this site, so I am sure this has been asked many times, but here i go anyhow. My clutch is going pretty bad, so I'm wondering what clutch is the best to go for, performance wise and best-for-the-buck wise. Also, last time the clutch was replaced they had to resurface the flywheel. Would it be good to go ahead and get one of those too? I heard on this site the Type R is a good one, at 12 lbs. is that the best, w/o hurting torque b/c I want to keep those ft/lbs. Also, how hard is it to change out the clutch by yourself? What all would I need?

i got a center force stage 2 for under 3 bills. i hear the stge 3 is too grabby. as for my stage 2, it isn't too grabby and isn't stiff to push in. i have also heard it's not too good for turbo set ups. so far it's been really good with the y8.....so i'm sure it would do great with an a6

and yes...the ex has the d16a6 . 4th gen ex & si have same engines

ah, a6.... tho i hhave no idea what all those a's, y's, b's is all about, but atleast i know what I have i was wondering what those clutches on eBay would be like, the Exedy ones they have all the time, usually going for like 100 or so. i'm kinda po' right now, so i'm just lookin for something that I can use pretty well right now on a tight budget. also, the flywheel before was resurfaced so do i need a new one now that my clutch is bad again?

jsu remember u get wut u pay for. if u want something that u can use after u get further into mod'n...then get a clutch masters stage 3 or an ACT w/ an Xtreme pressure plate...jus stay away from puck designs, they're a bitch to daily drive w/...no feathering

I'd say get clutch masters depending on what you want to do get a stage that matches 1 for bolt ons 2 for bolt ons/NOS 3 some work/NOS/smallTurbo 4 lots of work/NOS/Big Turbo 5 Insane stuff but i'd stay away from ACT i've seen some problems with them hope that helps.
