Probably a stupid question!

I got my BMW used, 95' 525i, (didn't get a manual when I bought it) Im wondering where am I supposed to add transmission fluid to this? Is there any special kind i should use or will castrol be ok?

not sure but i know the 97 and up the transmissions fluid is not meant to be serviced but there was a tech artical on how to at bmwplant.com(but the site went down last week )

go to www.bmwtips.com and search the site i know the e39 manual is there so i guess yours must be there some where
