What would the best limited slip diff. be.
Hello, i am only 16 and i bought my Z car about 6 months ago (1973 datsun 240z in mild condition), and i've been trying to make it a street hotrod. but for right now i'm out looking for a limited slip diff. i was told that an older 4wd subaru has a good one i could put in my car, but i couldn't find the right one, actually i'm not totally sure what the right kind is, is there any others i could put in that'd be better, thanks for your time. steve

Re: What would the best limited slip diff. be.
Take a look at the diffs from the new 350Z/G35 Coupe, also if those fail try Nismo. They do tuning for Nissans. You might just want to exchange the whole rear axle with one of a newer Nissan Z.

I've heard rear diffs from the last generation 300ZX 2+2s work well, as well as Jaguar diffs, but not sure from what. I assume an XJ-S.
Can anyone confirm?

Just get the R200 rear diff out of a 80-83 280zx Turbo.
Like what I have in my 240z, even has LSD... makes for a fun car.
