HorsePower TV

I kinda like this show. Today I watched as they dropped a GSR motor into a Civic. It was kinda cool, since its something that some ppl actually do. Some of the build-ups they do are kinda dumb, since all of there projects usuially have HUGE budgets that few of us have.

Otherwise its a good show. I like the sport-compacts / economy cars they have worked on, its all stuff that the average enthusiast would do. The mustangs and some of the trucks they have done are cool too.

Anybody else like this show? Likes / Dislikes?

It's definitly one of the better car shows on television at the moment.

I'd say it's a toss-up between them and the other show on TNN with "Cam and Dean". I can't recall the name of it but it's pretty good.

Although I despise trucks, I can't stop myself from loving the show Trucks!. The host is just damn good, much better than your average car show host.

As for "Super2NR TV", it makes me want to puke, more so than even the dreaded Hi-Rev tuners. Today they went to the L.A. auto show and took some dumbass 16 year old who didn't even have a license and didn't know shit about cars(not that the two hosts do either) and just started showing random cars with the kid talking about them(or rather proving that he couldn't). "duh...this is a subaru WRX...it's ah, real cool...ah...Momo steering wheel...I bet it's gotta be real fast...um...yeah". I mean really, what the hell is that?

Oh well, jsut have to work out the frustration when I go see Daredevil in an hour. I know it's gonna suck, and I've lost a fair bit of my faith in Affleck, but I gotta see it anyways, at least I know it'll be better than XXX or Blue Crush, or anything with Vin Diesel in it.

But I mean really, a BLACK kingpin? what the bloody hell? thats just plan wrong.

It's not too bad, I really wish they would come out with a show that has a budget that may be equal to that of an average car enthusiast so as to show the mods that could actually be made, and what would be best to go with, as well as engine maintenance tips and such.
