I am getting a 1991 Camaro!

Hello,

I am getting a 1991 Camaro RS. It is an Automatic, V6 3.2 liter. I have some questions, since I have never owned, and not even seen too many of these up close.

Rims: Are there any out there that look sweet on an older camaro like this? Or are the stock ones fine?

Any other mods? What mods can you do to this type of car (not to make it faster). Looks wise, anything that you can do to make the car look sweet? Anything to the interior?

Let me know

Brian

Might look into some 3rd Gen Firehawk rims, they're pretty badass on 3rd gen Camaros and Firehawks.

As for looks, if you're looking for interior stuff, swap in a set of 4th gen seats. Seen that done several times, and it looks good. A cowl hood always works, but you don't really have the get up and go to back it up. If it needs a new paint job, you could always put a set of stripes on it like the 25th anniversary Camaro heritage stripes that were on 92's. Just a couple of thoughts...

Here's a pic of the Firehawk rims I was talking about...

Just so you know, these are not originals, because originals would set you back too much money. These are as close as I've found, and they're nice. You could find them at www.stealthperf.com or from SLP.

Hello,

How would a rim like this looks on a 1991 Camaro. If anyone is good with photoshop, and could get it to look right, would they be able to do it?

Also, how big can the rims be?

As far as I know, those only come in the 17"x9.5" that's mentioned on the site. If I were to get a different pic of the rim, and a side shot of your car, I could photoshop them on. I'm not very good with it though...

Oh, I see now. Based on those that I've seen, I think those rims do look good on 3rd gens too. Not sure how comparable they would be in price to the Firehawk ones though...

yeah they are pretty pricey on ebay. but, I was thinking maybe there are replica ones, somewhere. Or just something similiar.

Also, are you on AIM? I messaged you, but you are not there.
