Ok i have the chance on buying 1989 Nissan Pulsar NX XE. Soon as i get that i'm already planning on gettting the ca18det for 1100. What do i need to complete this swap? I would post on the pulsar forum but the last post was from November Someone help thanks!

ah the Pulsar NX...i had mine for all of 3 months, but already i kinda miss her...pffft, what am i saying? mine was a rusting piece of shit with the worst available engine! good riddance!

Yo will need the wiring harness out of the NX SE and it's computer, as well as the shifter/selector from the SE, all the SE's motor mounts, the SE's AFM, radiator, powersteering pump and the computer will need to be rreprogrammed to handle the 370cc injectors and timing too.

Damn i thought it was a str8 drop in? Cause the pulsar already comes with a ca18de?

Which motor do you have in yours, now? Since you said XE, the ones here in the states have either the GA16i or the e16i
