ABS problem

When I start my car and go my ABS system kicks in and when I hit my brakes you can feel and hear the ABS vibrating, its like the car thinks I am slipping. After about a mile or so the ABS light comes on and the ABS system turns off until I turn off and then restart the car. This cant be good any ideas?

pull the fuse. this will atleast shut the abs system off tiil you get it fixed.:smoker:

Hmmmm, this is just a hunch but the sensors for the abs are these magnets. Everytime I change the brakes I see an excrement load of metal shavings stuck to the sensors, I wonder if one of the ABS sensors is so covered that it does not sense the wheel spinning?
