Exclamation How can this happen?

can anyone tell my why bbr and exoto cost so dang much. I could understand if the models were maybe 1:12 or somesuch. But bbr is 1:43 170$! How can they sell them at these prices?

BBR Models are hand built in Italy and made with exact precision and superb detail. Because of this attention to quality, BBR models are produced in very limited numbers.

Personally, these models are out of my range also. I have paid up to $100 for an 1/18 scale model but $150+ for a 1/43 scale model is too much for me.

BBR models are also an investment : you will always get at least the price you payed, if not more. They are also built in very limited series : 100 or 200 in most cases...

I have about 30 BBR's and they are all masterpieces... But they are not in the same price range nor detail level as a normal diecast, that is true.

I was looking at buying a 1/18 Ferrari 456 estate and the only company that made it was BBR, I would have had to sell some major body parts to get that model. its insane.

As a matter of fact I do...
And you can see them all too : on my webpage that you will find here. You will find them amongst the 1200 other models I've built in the section "Ferrari street cars" and also "Ferrari sportscars". The 650 kits that I still need to build are not in my webpage...
